Chang Lau was a disciple of Jiang Da Hong and for more than 20 years, he remained a truthful follower of him.

His Feng Shui art was passed down to his Family; the Chang family passes it on to Zhang Zhong San and his family and from Zhang family, the Feng Shui art was passed on down to Tang Yang Wu and his family. During wartime with the Japanese, Tang Yang Wu gave Sui Beng the original manuscript to safe-keep. Keeping on to the script, Sui Beng later came to Malaya and Singapore. Now, the keeper of these original manuscripts is Grandmaster Francis Leyau, the only surviving direct lineage master from the Tan Sui Beng line. Their school is Xuan Kong Da Gua ("64 Hexagrams Method School).
