During the complete Full Day Practical of Xuan Kong Flying Stars Feng Shui, the students were anxious and looking forward to what they might gain from the practical lessons. Before setting out, they were briefed on some of the housing formations commonly found in Singapore, especially HDBs, which are the homes of 85% of Singapore’s population. And of course, not forgetting the formations of Condominiums and Terrace houses. A correct and effective system of taking house directions and the proper ways to identify the house Qi were also imparted to them. The varies landforms and formations of the houses they might encounter in the City of Singapore were also explained to them.
With kind permission from one of the clients, the students were brought to her house for the first practical lesson. It was also the day for the Master to conduct an after feng shui audit for that particular house. The house owner is in a restaurant business. But however, since they moved into this house in the Year 2008, their business started to decline. The students were then asked to apply their knowledge on the formula of San Yuan Feng Shui on the house. Amazingly, they immediately noted that the previous door and the bedroom were not in favor of the occupants. Fortunately, the house owner had already heeded the advise of Master Dennis Lai and have relocated her house door and had gone through the rest of the rectification on her house, 10 days before the practical lesson. The house owner was glad that her business soon flourished. Students also took note of the rectification on the house fengshui and related it to what they have been taught.
The stove location is important as it determines the health and wealth for the occupants. Ever since they moved in the house, the owner’s son has been complaining of upper respiratory problems. However, now that the stove has been relocated to her wealth location, she no longer had problems regarding her son’s health. On top of that, this has also amazingly helped her to gather her desired wealth luck.
What about the room’s Balcony door? Does it have a tremendous influence on the occupants room Qi? If it is a bad Qi what do we suggest? Can you see the remedy from the picture?

The second house we visited was an empty house with an exceptionally good feng shui layout. The students were given a chance to verify and to test their feng shui skills on this site project. They of course were asked to use what they have learn and applying, to the best of their capabilities, all the san yuan feng shui information. The outcome was that all the students wanted to purchase the house after knowing its good properties! Unfortunately, it was already sold.
The last stop was a visit to Kong Meng San Pho Kark See Monastery where the late Venerable Hong Choon did his Geomancy layout of the Monastery. It provided valuable learning experiences for the students and they of course, have to count the “Yang Steps”.
The word “history” is the study of the human past. It means knowledge in the form of an inquiry that attempts to investigate the patterns of cause and effect from the past.
One of the enquiry that I have is whether I can use fengshui to determine the history of the occupants in the house. Examples such as which occupants will fall sick, which occupants are able to do well or are my children able to perform in their studies, etc. My answer to this is simple “History is one of the important key factor when studying a house’s fengshui. Only when you know how the house is going to influence its occupants then may you proceed to do their audit.” Through hundreds of clients that I have served and case studies that I have compiled by simply using flying stars feng shui, history can definitely be traced back.
I have always urged my students who have completed the flying star fengshui to do fengshui audit to gather experiences. Not fearful of what you are going to see and tell. One simple method is by using what they have learnt to trace the history of the occupants. If it is correct and you are convinced by what you have seen, heard and experienced, you may then progress to the more advanced fengshui course.

Are you aware that simple act of shaking hands can tell a person character? You do not necessarily need to examine the lines on the palm. You can know about a person simply by observing the shape, colour and texture of a person’s hand.
Some hand reading basics:
When any man or woman whose hand seems to slip from yours when you grasp theirs in greeting, it indicate that such persons are deceptive and treacherous. They may put on a friendly smile, but instinctively they regard you as their prey and will only use you for their own object.
A man or woman who gives a good firm grasp of the hand, is self-confident, energetic, and generally reliable.
A person, who keeps his hands closed while talking, is distrustful in his nature.
A firm hand is the sign of an energetic, reliable nature.
When a person had a soft and fat hand, often he or she is a lazy in natural.
A thin hand that feels listless or lack of strength signifies someone who is restless and is often bother by worries. He or she has only sufficient energy to live.
When a hand is cold and clammy (Sweaty), it indicates that the person is sensitive and nervous. It is also a sign of poor health.
Remember that the hands are the immediate servants or instruments of the brain. There are more motive and sensory nerves from the brain to the hand than to any other portion of the body and, whether sleeping or waking, they continually and unconsciously reflect the thought and character of the mind or soul of the individual.
Palmistry: Fingers and Character (Observe the fingers)
If the fingers is short and stumpy in proportion to the rest of the palm – one may be sure that the individual to whom they belong is of an animal nature. They tend to be more on the vulgar side.
When the fingers and palm appear equal in length, it shows that the person belongs to a more cultured race. They’re usually bright, and able to think out of the box during critical moments.

Should the Shop facing or the Building facing are use behind these theories for the correct application of Xuan Kong Da Gua Feng Shui. Looking out is a main lobby door connecting to the shop. Correct location and direction of measurement taken is almost important prior to the construction of a door. Can a door have 2 sets of Flying stars numbers? The answer is yes, depending on the location of the door.
No forgetting the importance of the external land form that influence the internal house feng shui.
